Founded in 2020, DR. BRAD’S FERMENTERY is the brainchild of three friends: American Bradley, Scotsman Graham, and Swiss native Thierry.
This trio, obsessed with fermentation, crafts innovative Kombucha flavors and fermented foods in their Basel lab. Sustainability is core to their ethos. They champion locally sourced organic ingredients, aspiring towards zero-waste production. This fusion of passion, tradition, and eco-consciousness has created a fermenting powerhouse. In the future, DR. BRAD'S FERMENTERY will continue to maintain the highest quality by producing our products with utmost care and craftsmanship. Part of our vision includes buying B-grade produce from local farmers – top-quality produce that isn't 'pretty' enough for standard retail. By purchasing and processing this produce at fair prices, we create a win-win situation. Steps are already underway in this direction, although it has not been fully realized yet. I want to show people the health benefits of food preserved through Fermentation. Our aim is to illustrate the preservation power of Fermentation, along with its contribution to health and wellbeing.»

Dopamine Factor: «For me, it's a natural progression in my culinary journey. Ever since I can remember, I've been involved with food and drinks. As a child, I was by my mother's side in the kitchen. Later, I began crafting cocktails and brewing my own beer and wine. I've spent my life selling parties, cocktails, and indulgences. Now, it's time for me to evolve, focusing on natural and healthy Fermentation. I want to be able to offer people something healthy. Fermentation allows me to do exactly that.
Personally, I'm still at the beginning of my learning journey with Fermentation, which makes it all the more significant and interesting for me. The flavor development of fermented vegetables is absolutely unique. The slight acidity and umami, coupled with the purest intrinsic flavor, represent for me the pinnacle of aroma in any vegetable. In short, Fermentation is an exciting field with both health benefits and immense culinary potential – that's why I'm so passionate about it.»
